Atuh Beach on Nusa Penida or Pantai Atuh as it's known in Bahasa, is one of the most epic beaches in Nusa Penida, Bali. It's a rough drive and a short hike down to the beach but it's an incredible little bay, making it worth the effort!
Atuh Beach. In 2016, the locals of Nusa Penida constructed a concrete staircase on the right side of Atuh Beach, which allowed visitors to descend almost all the way down to the beach. The last step was at that time 2 meters high ! The staircase is now complete with a total of 166 steps. While not aesthetically pleasing, it's quite practical.

The way down till the beach will take you less than twenty minutes. It is close to Atuh Beach and it may be a good idea to combine the visit of both beaches in the same tour.
